What did the doctor say to the patient suffering from a bacterial infection? Ah, I see you’re a man of culture as well.
In an effort to bridge the cultural gap with my Hispanic friends, I’ve been saying “muchos” a lot more recently. It means a lot to them.
Went to see The Darkness tonight, utterly brilliant. Hung out with Justin afterwards too and he’s a thoroughly lovely bloke. I did point out that, as a Norwich fan, he should be thoroughly depressed to lose to us!
Quality band. Permission to Land is one of the best post-millenium albums across any genre imo. Was gutted to miss them headlining some festival I went to over the summer. Had to miss their set cos my sister was getting married the same day.
I despair at humanity sometimes, I really do. How low can you get? https://news.sky.com/story/thieves-...resents-from-santa-grotto-in-bristol-11883786
Keyboards are easy in the UK. As a certain Pub Landlord would say QWERTY, beautiful English name! but .... the further you move from Greenwich (the centre of the universe) keyboards get trickier. By the time you get to Serbia they've been through so many countries with different letters who knows what you're pressing? (.........) How do you get to the ?
Interesting bit of trivia about keyboards. Because of the mechanical nature of early typewriters, the keyboard layout was designed to be the slowest possible placement of letters when it came to typing, so that the strikers would have the least incidence of jamming. Which means that the PC keyboard I am writing this on is effectively limiting the bandwidth of my communication. Two thumbed/fingered are actually worse, but some people manage extraordinarily well. There are more modern keyboard layouts which you can buy which offer far faster typing, but because they haven't been standardised there hasn't been a mass adoption of them.
I know this is EV nerdy, but I find this hilarious. I suspect I might be one of few [or the only one] who does. Jeez, how uninformed can people be? Ford announced the all-electric Ford Mustang Mach E, 3 weeks ago. You'd think dealerships might have an idea. BTW, you can charge any electric car at home. Including a Ford Mach-E. Tbf, the guy at 5:30 sort of knows a few things. But he's not right on everything. He's about 75%.
