But back to your point on books, I work full time, have a busy social life,visit this site everyday ,but I read at least 1 book a month and when on holidays 2 in a week is normal.
And the wife travels 30 mins each way on the train to her works and reads 1 a week.

 

Raised the bar.

Must admit, I wondered what the hell was special about this video, as it started, but it turned out to be superb. What an excellent video. I particularly liked the bit where the obviously long-suffering wife found her image in the photo had been replaced by the head of John-Lewis and the husband looked at her sheepishly before removing it. Loads of great, subtle touches like that.

 

Good job it is being released, I was beginning to think I would have to download it from somewhere to support freedom etc etc. Think I'll do my bit and watch Team America.

 

Yeah, that does seem to be lost in the whole 'freedom of speech' debate. It's a pretty bloody stupid and insensitive topic for a film, and I'm sure if the reverse was made, the Yanks would be up in arms a whole lot more about it...making a film about the assassination of someone who is alive...*shakes head*...

Remember the fuss this year when Hilary Mantel wrote a short story about Thatcher's imaginary assassination...

I'm glad Sony are showing it, but I don't really think it should have been made in the first place.
