If the chavs slip up again and we beat them when we play them, then your result could (in my wildest dreams) help us to pip them to the title.

That would be a fitting gift from the spuds, helping us to win the title

 

Spurs had won their last two games at Old Trafford.

 

Well that's even more of a capitulation then today, seeing as they beat us and the Chavs recently.

 

That's what's so ****ing infururiating. We put on a great show that sticks 5 past the probable EPL champions, and then go and produce a Sunday morning pub team display today!

All part of the giant roller coaster ride of following Spurs. Not recommended for those of a nervous disposition, or if you already have hypertension!

 

While you're all talking about single meaningless victories against each other. You seem to have forgotten that it's based over 38 games.

Chelsea will just win it from Arsenal with city 3rd and Liverpool 4th. United will get Thursday night football mainly thanks to Spurs who will have a CD out next week called our 5 match season 'premiership winners'

 

Actually, Ozzie, if we are to fall short on 4th spot - which I see as fairly certain, now - I'd want us to miss out on the Europey.

Firstly, it wil be a wake-up call for Levy and the board, and, secondly, I think we could do without the distraction, quite frankly.

And there is a third reason...

Our players seem to think that, whilst we're in Europe, somehow that is equivalent to our being in contention for top 4, which (as is patently clear to any sensible fan) is about as far from the truth as it can get. Our players need a massive kick up their collective arse, and being no better than the Spanners and Everton, as well as falling further behind Arsenal, will leave them in absolutely no doubts that they need to listen to the manager, instead of resting on non-existent laurels.

 

You say just win it from Arsenal - how close do you think it will be ?

 

Of course I'm aware that the season is over the course of 38 games. My comment was more about the vast disparity in quality of our performances.

 

Spurs were terrible yesterday each and every player. I hope we can beat Swansea tonight and keep the pressure on Utd.

 

We thought it was only fair that we beat you both. We don't want to be accused of favouritism.

 

I cannot imagine how embarrassed Gooners and Chavs must be that their teams were both beaten by this Spurs team!

 

Or, if you miss out by 2 points, then our game will have cost you the title. I'll sleep better with that thought.

 

It's like losing to Leicester or QPR

 

If that happens then we will only have Champions League, Top 4, a 2nd placed finish, a possible FA cup final and St Totterinhham's day to celebrate

 

Of course you still have Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea to play. Cock them all up and maybe our victory will take away your 4th place?

 

City look like they are vulnerable. For me, they have rarely looked like a team. More like a bunch of highly paid mercenaries put together to try and make a football team.

It wouldn't surprise me if they don't finish in the top 2.

No version of HIAG would suggest Liverpool doing well. In my scenario, Spurs are still 6th/7th.
