Good Morning. It's Friday 26th May, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road Atlético Madrid lining up double swoop Spanish media outlet 'Fichajes' have reported that Atlético Madrid are lining up a Є50m bid this Summer for Leeds duo Tyler Adams and Rodrigo. After a relatively disappointing campaign by their standards, Diego Simone is looking to bolster his squad, in preparation for domestic, and European success next season, and see's the Elland Road pair as useful additions to his squad Whilst the fee seems reasonable, both players have already been earmarked by Leeds, as integral parts of next seasons promotion push (assuming they go down). Rodrigo may be 32, and have little over a year left on his contract, but whilst he's firing in the goals, Leeds won't want to lose him. He's netted 15 times this season (in all competitions), and has a shot accuracy of 60%, higher than Haaland, Toney and Salah. Leeds have crumbled since Tyler Adams tore his hamstring, back in March, such is his importance to the line-up. The 24yo has been Leeds most reliable player this season, mopping up in the centre of the park, and not giving the opposition a moments rest. He has a terrific attitude too, both on and off the pitch. Other Leeds players could do a lot worse, than to use the USA International as a template as to what is expected of them. please log in to view this image Transfer window opens in less than 3 weeks, and Leeds are not prepared The transfer window opens in less than three weeks time, and as things stand, Leeds find themselves Managerless, without a Director of Football, and do not have a clue who their owners will be! With a 97% chance of relegation, the club could soon find themselves a collision course which they fail to recover from. Past seasons show that throwing money at problems only slows down the inevitable, and soon the wonga will disappear too. They say the Championship is the hardest league in the World to get out of, even though Wigan Athletic have made it look easy. Leeds face a race against time to get the cogs in place, steady the ship, and start to rebuild a squad capable of automatic promotion; all whilst fending off other clubs, trying to rob Leeds Utd of their best talent. please log in to view this image
Morning all. Busy day, wont be logging in much you'll be glad to know. Can't see Rodrigo or Adams playing championship football if Im honest and they'll be probably only two that'll be missed. Amazed at the excitement among fans at playing scum reserves in Norway in a nothing match when we likely wont have assembled half our team for season ahead. Early 4am start in morn as usual for us fools travelling over
Rodrigo and Adams will be wanted by a lot of top clubs and Rodrigo will not want to see out the end of his career in the Championship, he has options in the Prem with Villa and WHU plus options at various clubs in Spain. Adams has showed he is a baller in the middle and would walk into most teams, so cannot see him wanting Championship footy
On the not being prepared statement I would say Leeds are as prepared as they can be. Yes Orta left along with a couple of his boys, but he leaves behind the data team and the scouting and recruitment boys plus we have a loan manager. Apparently lots of plans were already in place? DoF is one thing but lots of clubs have a DoF or a sporting director which have a recruitment team underneath and under them are scouts and data boys. So we may not have a DoF but seem to still have the rest?
Morning all I don't think we are not prepared, the threat of relegation has been on the cards for a long time. I think Radz is leaving and we just need to see which division we are in before the appointments are made. If we really are in for someone like Rogers or Potter they'll never take charge of us in the Championship, if Radz is staying his funding got us promoted once and I can think of worse owners. The media is trying to stir up a frenzy, lets get Spurs out the way and let the fallout settle. Players leaving, who cares who leaves out of the first team squad, they haven't been good enough Put it another way, if we were Brighton or Brentford and we were looking to sign a relegated teams players we'd be asking huge questions. Rodrigo, an aging forward who has had one decent season n the PL but spends lots of time on the treatment table Adams has shone in patches, Gnonto has looked awful since his injury, seriously, if we get decent offers coming in sell them, bank the money and spend it more wisely next time.
Let me know your plans and as have a delivery for you. Will be after the game as no time before, unless you're in the West Stand in which case let me know where you're sitting
I remember last season thinking to myself, why would we buy players from teams that have been relegated, bar the odd stand out player? Leeds have been dreadful for most of the season and the only 2 players who played to a PL standard are Adams and Rodrigo, they will leave. Of all the players we need to keep I reckon Drameh is the one. He's been the dogs for the last 2 seasons in the Championship and is miles better than an ailing Ayling (see what I did there?). I don't care who else goes, they've all been crap or past it.

Had a little look at Burnley seeing as they went down on the final day and came back up in some fashion. Big exits Nick Pope Aaron Lennon (retired) Ben Mee James Tarkowski Nathan Collins Dwight McNeil Maxwel Cornet Ashley Westwood Wout Weghorst (loan) Matt Lowton (didn't play, loaned out in Jan) Matej Vydra Other exits (less than 10 league apps) Wayne Hennessey Erik Pieters Kevin Long Hopefully our list isn't too much bigger! Will be interesting to see how we compare with Southampton and most likely Leicester too.

Kristenson has been decent at centre back. I remember researching him just before he signed with us, and one of his main attributes was that he's a good header of the ball, something defensively we haven't been good enough at, for some time.
Agree with just about all of that. Apart from Forshaw who I’d keep on a pay as you play basis (if those contracts still exist)
