Now Elliott has said this you’d think that adds to our appeal. Be silly not too as surely it’d get taken away but they could still just see the injury and say it’s a red. We need Struijk Friday so I hope we do. Latest we can appeal is tomorrow so I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
Also, fair play to the lad. He could easily look at the challenge in a bad light because of the injury. Obviously very level headed and I wish him a speedy recovery. Seems like a nice guy.
If only his big teeth manager had kept iff the pitch remonstrating with the ref maybe no card shown. Allie McCoist ripping into the German twot because it wasnt even a foul until he walked onto the pitch and then the red was shown immediatley
If a team isn’t playing well it’s usually a collective… are passes going astray because our players are playing badly - or because the opponents are either better players, or better set up off the ball, or both? Often it’s a bit of both and a few stray passes can lead to a collective meltdown. Don’t agree about the other performances - we created fck all at Burnley and Everton had the chances to bury us. I’m not all doom and gloom, it’s early days and I expect us to turn it around but I think we’ve been pretty sh*t so far.
It’s certainly true that our style gets punished more often by sides with better quality players who can pass through our press and also kill us in transition, but I don’t personally buy the ‘found out’ argument. People have been saying this for 3 years. Everyone knows how we play, everyone knows how to stop it, not everyone has the players or discipline to do it. We topped the form league at the end of last season… all those teams knew what was coming.
Elliott - The Premier League need more players like him, top lad. He needn’t have said anything but he has put that out there within 24hrs of it happening, a true professional We shouldn’t have to appeal, the FA should say sorry a mistake was made.
IF Koch and Llorente injured, we desperately need Struijk for the next three games! If the same thing happened in the last match of the season, and we needed a win to stay up, what would Bielsa do?
The FA say sorry, lol your having a laugh mate, they are a jumped up set of W...a ...n...k...e...r...s
Sorry but the caption was about the glory hunters on their phones. Someone posted it as a skit to all those plastics in the crowd.
I just cannot see why bielsa takes rodrigo off at half time once again. Is roberts going to offer more in terms of scoring. This is where Bielsa really annoys me. Same old thing and same tactics once more. Liverpool mate of mine said we play too open so if he can see it why can't bielsa. Yes he is a top man manager and all round good guy. But are the players knackered through over training because they look it. Kalvin gets no help and klich needs to play because he niggles and puts a foot in. We needed someone to do the hard work and dirty stuff and bielsa could not see it. We should have packed the midfield and tried to snatch a win or at least kept it tight and got a point. We just charge upfield and then give the ball away. Seriously do you guys think victimpool were that good?.
Elliot changed his tune, Klopp must have had a word. Elliott now live on Sky Sports News speaking from his hospital bed to Kaveh Solhekol and Neil Buchanan. He's saying he feared his career was over and now believes that the FA should take a hard line with Pascal Struijk. Said he didn't wish to comment on whether the ban should be extended.
