Spot on mate. I thought first half the game should of been won. The 2nd half was even but we had nothing to give. I'm just fed up of seeing the same faces on the treatment table and when we do get injuries or bad luck they always seem clumped in the same position. Can you believe we still haven't seen Llorente and Koch as a CB pairing? When one comes back the other is out. or both are out the same time. It's a worry sure it is. Not saying they both would play together if all fit but I'm sure they both would be playing right now in our current situation. I want to see Forshaw have a run of games but sadly I can't see his body holding up I could understand if he was getting walloped in games with big tackles but his injuries are always minor and frustrating since he's been back. How is he going to cope with a full blooded 90mins. Harrison out and it looks like Rapha is struggling something has to give. we are dropping like 9pins. Then we got players not performing for whatever reason. Our Fullbacks have very rarely overlapped the wide men this season something we were smashing last. We also are not finding anything for Bamford because he's being marked out the game. both are big parts of our game and teams are stopping it. I'm more frustrated this season than anything else. just nothing seems to be going for us. injuries, Poor Officials, crap decisions with Struijk and tackles on our own players. Var is not used in our own interest but when it's other teams they are looking at it even before it even happens.. seems if you scream in pain on the ground then get a few players to argue with the Ref or run on the field of play from the bench wins these decisions. Stupid thing is all are not allowed yet these are the teams that are getting the decisions. Time to roll up our sleeves surely things can't get any worse can they?
The Dan James penalty incident is another example of how farcical var is. Anywhere else on the pitch it is a foul. If Mike Dean had given it I seriously doubt var would have ruled it out as a clear and obvious error therefore they should have been asking Dean to take a second look. Var has gone from one extreme to another in that last year they interfered far too much and now they are not getting involved at all.
Siddas has a point regarding refs, because we have been shafted a few times already. Against Newcastle we had a clear penalty waved away and that would have given us a 2 goal lead before haf time. A 2 goal lead would have settled nerves and all those chances we missed maybe wouldn't have been missed.we were seriously on for double figures by half time but not getting the penalty added pressure and they scored just before half time
There were problems with VAR and dogy refs almost in every game this weekend. Saints/Man City, Leicester/Brighton, Leeds, Man Utd…..
Morning all Friday night was two points dropped, it does feel like we’ve gone one foot backward this season.
I can't see any easy games coming up, maybe Norwich, but there are tricky ones like Watford, Wolves, W.Ham, Southampton, Brighton etc etc. Those are the teams we need to get points from because I can't see us winning against any of the top 6 to 8 teams.
Morning chaps. we are ****ing useless in front of goal, we're crying out for an out and out striker, yes I know we had a few players out but we've been woeful for a while now, I don't no who was worse in front of goal us or the Toon. I was at the game in the gallowgate end in the middle of all the geordie faithful and have to say what a great stadium they have, but Elland Road is more intimidating and noisy atmosphere had to join in singing "he's one of your own he's one of your own, Jimmy Savile, he's one of your own" I didn't want the ****ers to get the wrong idea.
