i did not rate jansen that much , sure he scored a few goals but he made lots of mistakes and teams scored against us so he will do the same mistakes in brentfords defence , brentford will fall away and i would much rather have ben white , we could do with a hard tackling defender when cooper panics could replace him and dweight gayle up front will guarantee at least another 12 goals before end of season which will give leeds automatic promotion

A little insight into the '35 players' that Bielsa says he's working with.

He's a little bit different with his training methods, as we ll know. What I can absolutely tell you is he doesn't just train the first team. He calls on selected players from the u18 & u23 squads for specific routines. Daily. Don't know why he only chooses 35 out of the 50 or 60 (or whatever) in number, but that's the way he works.

I've had this explained to me by a player, and have noticed mixed groups coming off the training field a number of times whilst I've been at TA for an u18 or u23 match. Just to be clear, it's only for specific routines. The u18s, u23s, & the first team all train separately, apart from these routines. Not suggesting I know it all, as I acknowledge that there are almost certainly be other approaches / nuances that I'm not aware of, but I do know this for a fact.

So Bielsa wasn't lying. Why would he? Why would 'fans' call him a liar? Sometimes I despair. <doh>

Wasn't it something daft, like £10k for playing & the rest for coaching. Or is that just me muddling it up with the '10 grans a week' joke? :D

It was put out £20k as a player and £80k as a coach but that's been rubbished because any player can only be paid half maximum for the coaching side of it.
    So it's £50k/£50k

If players have a duel role, player/coach, both wages are added together and then halved for FFP purposes.

It’s not as far fetched as it sounds. His valuation is falling by the day as his contract runs out in June when he could leave for free.

This way Hull receive a minimum of £3m, and in all probability a total of £15m by the end of the season.

If there are no other bidders this window they may well be tempted.

Why don’t we make Pablo and a few others coaches so. Half their wages wouldn’t count. Maybe our sponsors would cover the cost like they did with dergy

I suspect more will come of this if the player wants it to happen. If he doesn't then it's a non-starter.

If his contract runs out in June, then the deal has no chance, even if we didn't go up he could come for free in the summer or go any club, will want money now I would think.

Who's calling Bielsa a lier, people are saying we don't have 35 first team squad members, we have 16 + under 23s, no where near enough, cost us promotion last season and might do the same again this season. If he wants to spend an hour or so a day with the kids, it's nothing to do with our lack of good squad players, we've seen recently even the very best of the under 23s are struggling to step up.

Different story then, they won't feel they have to sell till the summer.
