This is another example of make some rules and watch people play them... ( and sat testing is bollox at the age they bring it in at.) ... but if you reward schools according to ‘performance’/league tables you reap what you sow - all about the results Gotta take issue with your comments on private schools though. Pursue the best education? Like every school they attract people by results so... they teach kids how to pass exams rather than teach them the subject (so do comp schools) - pupils who are struggling are advised/bullied to get private tuition. Depends on what your idea of a good education is.
Up until very recently, I would have agreed with you. I detested the very notion of private schools. Still do actually, but have had a bit of education on them recently. I now have more respect for them, when in the past I had absolutely zero. I read a few articles on their approach to learning difficulties. I expected the word 'expelled' to feature highly. It didn't. I can't find the articles I originally read, but will link to one I quite easily found just there. Won't look for more. Whilst I may be many things, an advocate for private schools I most certainly am not. Have a wee read at this ...... https://www.schoolhousemagazine.co.uk/education/schools-for-dyslexia/
I've alweays said that he needs someone with him and I think he will have a great partnership with Rodrigo now.
My thoughts too except i wanted bamford behind a striker. So a surprise how it's working for me. Rodrigo is realky good with an eye for a pass. He is a team player too turning out to be bargain of the season.
Bargain of the season ? FFS Wakey, your tongue is stuck so permanently in your cheek posters have now started to take you seriously
