    Every manager gets sacked and they're the ones we're after. At least Viera had a good season. Gerard had nothing and Emery worked with a virtually same squad and got them into Europe, Gerard could barely win a game. Olly Watkins was hopeless under him and looked to be on way out of club. Had a great second half to season under Emery. Im not saying for one minute it has to be Viera but it cannot be Gerard. It cannot

    I’m not convinced by either. Your comparison of Gerard to Emery could just as easily apply to Viera and Hodgson.

    Same here but my point is Viera might work and only might. Gerard is a guaranteed flop. He’s in same bracket as Lampard but because he’s English the media will continue to have a live in with both of them
