Toffee's fans praying for Leeds play-off exit

With the play-offs in full flow, twitter has been abuzz with activity, mainly from fans of the teams that are being represented; but now Everton supporters are joining in, with a very different agenda.

The Merseyside outfit must have thought all their Christmas's came at once when they were able to snatch Jack Harrison away from Elland Road without so much as a loan fee. The 27yo winger has made 35 appearances for them this season and has played a major part in helping Sean Dyche's side stay clear of the drop zone.

Should Leeds fail to win the play-off's, Harrison, and the rest of deserters from last Summer will be able to extend their loans and continue to run down their contracts. Unsurprisingly, Everton are not keen to splash out £30m for a player, especially if they can exploit Leeds for free.

Leeds return as Bookies favourites for promotion

Leeds Utd are once again the bookies favourites to win the Championship play-offs, and return to the promised land, according to leading bookmakers Bet365.

The Whites and Southampton have been taking it in turns as the punters choice for the final promotion slot, but for now at least, Leeds top the bill. This may surprise many as the south Coast outfit have taken all six points from the Whites this season with a five to two aggregate. There's still little to choose between the two sides. Leeds are 11/8, whilst the Saints are 7/5

Morning all. We should give Harrison away for free. It's the Leeds way after all. As for penalties . Cry takes the first and scores, all others missed as we've nobody else to kick a ball except Piroe who will have been called ashore an hour earlier. We have to hope Meslier saves all his penalties
On another note, what an utter embarrassment the pl is. I watched the city fiasco last night, another title cheated while the plastic Tottenham fans only interested in mocking Arsenal. Spurs manager outraged at the make up of the club and I wouldn't be surprised if he walked

 

I'm ready for pens, we definitely won't lose 3 in a row at home, especially to such a poor away side.

Look, we can make this final, whether we have the cahoonas to win it is debatable. For me it’s now down to the players. Mes, don’t be nervous that only ensures failure. Farke, do not play Rutter as a nine, this is a cup game so if you feel the need to gamble and throw the dice with Joseph, do it (ironically you’ll probably get less criticism from the fans). The thoughts of the players should be we’re two games from the premier league so just go for it. If we don’t go up rest assured we’ll all be back next season enjoying another tilt at promotion.
