I get a phising email asking me for 6k bitcoin or apparently hacked recordings of me get released to my facebook friends (I dont use facebook) The threat was obv a phising bollocks email where they obtained 2 bits of info from an account.

Interesting thing was, the sender included a password, a very unique password, I used only once, for this site on my very first account on here.
The email address they emailed was also the same email address I used to create my first not606 account.

So, somehow someone got my email address and password combo I only ever used on this site, for that first not606 account.

Just in case someone of ye also get such an email, with such specific info, it's phising, you werent hacked most probably.

One does wonder htf they got that info from here?!

Google and Facebook are constantly trying to fish for the data on this site...whilst probably the security of this site is an abortion and all....just another generic platform

I'll tell you what's even funnier, it looks as though he's locked himself out of his account. <laugh>

Hopefully someone can help him with his 'unique' details get back in the door <whistle>

What a twisted bullshitting prick he truly is.

He rocked up again, tried to do his usual and create friction, failed and self combusted - again, removed his own avatar in a flouncy strop, and has now decided to pop back and try undermine the entire site.

@brb if you haven’t already, Perma ban this ****ing cretin please, he’s a poisonous troll and literally nothing more.

    Done <ok>

Just for info for other people who read this thread, no one has access to any passwords on this forum, not mods, not supermods, not even me. I can't speak for the boss who owns the site. However, I would hasten to add, I personally would never use the same password on a footie platform, that belonged to my bank accounts.

I keep a copy of my password under the 3rd biggest rock near my front door.
@FosseFilberto also has a copy. My grandad used to look after stuff like that for me, but he’s brown bread.

Wise, let the village elders look after your password.

Also they are old and slow so they can't run off with it either.

I know you’ve been using it for a while, but I’m unsure of it’s origins?

Surely we don’t need to have a discussion about the inanity of slang terms?

Inanity, now there’s a good word.

Yes a discussion would be inane lol.

Just seems like an odd slang term. Us Cockney's at least have something that rhymes, so folk can work it out.

But Togger ? What's the etymology of that word ? (another good word there)
