Putting the wumming to one side Spurs are doing well to hang in there at the moment, if they are to push into the top 4 and challenge they will have to beat the teams above them, losing those key games will kill of any challenge.
Not necessarily. Let's say it's a top six going for four places. That leaves fourteen teams... 14 x 2 x 3pts = 84pts ... thats enough to challenge for the title most seasons. Unlikely to win all twenty-eight but top four target is usually around 70pts Definitely helps to beat your rivals, especially as it means they drop points too
I might be wrong, but isn't that Spurs weak point. They bottle it against the big clubs. Liverpool on the other hand play well against big clubs and lose to the likes of Burnley. Spurs problem is they've drawn more games than any other PL team in the last 18 months, they need to go all out for the win each game, even if they lose a couple during that time. Poch seems a little bit too cautious for the win sometimes. Unlike Klopp for example that will batter the opposition, risking leaving gaps in behind to get hit on the counter. Anyway this season shows that 6 clubs are far better than the other 18 in the PL, almost like a mini league at the top, with all the ****e from 7th-20th. Makes last season even more bizarre with the champions being uber **** this season.
Exactly they've already lost to the champions elect who ended their draw sequence. More medicine to come on the 4th January.
I'm certain that the Spuds will find a new and inventive way to **** it up for themselves this season.
Every year they discover a new way to **** it up. A few of these hilarious capers have given us: * Lasagne-gate * 10 point-gate * Fulop-gate * Ghost goal-gate * Sugar-gate * 3rd in a 2 horse race-gate

One choice post from me, and I push Skiddy over the cliff of reason and on a rapid descent into insanity. A meltdown par excellence! My work here, tonight, is done.
