It feels like there’s now an inevitability to the break up of the Union.

Johnson will refuse any request for a 2nd ref, but I think it’ll be challenged in the courts, and from what I’ve seen on the subject, given the circumstances, i don’t see how refusing that vote will be deemed legal tbh.

I know it’s what you as a Scot wants, but personally I think it’s tragic for this island.

Imho patience is all that's needed at the moment. The SNP sword rattling is not helpful. Next year sees the Holyrood elections and another landslide for Independence parties will solidify the mandate for a second referendum even more. There will be no denying it.

It's an undeniable fact that Scotland and England are no longer politically compatible. This is supposed to be a union of equals for our mutual benefit. Scotland benefits nothing by being dictated to by an increasingly right wing and insular English electorate. There is only one solution.

We unshackle ourselves from the lunatic.
