Sounds exactly the same as ONiel. It looks like we'll probably play a 433 formation this year, so with Catts exit hopefully immenent we currently have Power, Mcgeouch, ONiel, Ethan Robson, Mumba and Honeyman all battling for 3 midfield slots with Embleton on the fringes of the first team squad. Plenty of competion and every player will know he needs to put in a performance to keep his place. That is exactly what we need in the Engine room. Another striker and ill be buzzing.
TRANSFER LATEST: Sunderland interested in loan signing of Manchester Utd striker James Wilson Sunderland are in talks with Manchester United over the loan signing of their young striker James Wilson - but, with the loan window open until the end of the month, no deal is imminent just yet.
We looked better when we went 3 at the back on Saturday. I think this Power kid could be quite a good signing. There are goals in him and will add to a more attacking philosophy which is what Ross has said we're gonna be all about this season.

By Andy Tomlinson@SAFCsource Aug 9, 2018, 4:24pm BSTSHARE please log in to view this image Photo by Stephen Pond/Getty Images Sunderland are light on options up front, with Josh Maja the only available striker on the books. Charlie Wyke is still a couple of weeks or so away from full fitness and Duncan Watmore will not return to the fold until the Autumn, so there is a pressing need to add to the options that we have up front. Thankfully, Sunderland’s recruitment team are in talks with a number of clubs, including Manchester United over their young striker James Wilson on a season-long loan deal. Nothing is imminent yet, but with the loan window open until the end of August the club have time to ensure that they make the correct decision with regards to their striking acquisitions. Wilson still has one-year remaining on his contract at Manchester United and although he is highly thought of at Old Trafford, he has lost his way of late. The 22-year-old has appeared 20 times for the United first team but the most recent of those were in the 2015-16 season and most of his experience has come during loan spells at Brighton & Hove Albion, Derby County and Sheffield United. He is an England under-21 international and last season was joint-top scorer in the Premier League International Cup despite joining Sheffield United on loan in January. Me too. I find it disrespectful as much as anything else. But trying to find that clip of Power and not being able to is just bloody annoying!
Which power is it? Max Power? Good box to box midfield that lad. Very creative in the final third. If it's not him, then I've not got a clue who it could be haha
