Tell you what - he has the massive ego and attitude but unlike so many "stars" Ronaldo certainly lives up to his billing !!!
I am sure that everyone on here would have predicted Liverpool to be 3-0 up at halftime against Man. City.
And just one goal for the Reds at the City of Manchester Stadium and Citeh have to score five. Interesting to see if they can really turn it on now in a game that really matters.
Blimey - what an ending to the game tonight - Cardiff v Wolves. Cardiff missed TW0 penalties in injury time !!!
Warnock looked as gutted as I have ever seen a manager. Mind that was a game where I wanted both teams to lose.
Udinese players wore 11 different shirts from 11 seasons for their 2-1 Serie A defeat by Lazio, before auctioning them for charity. The outfield shirts were all similar, with black and white stripes on the front and black on the back. please log in to view this image
Just spoke to my mate back home, who is a Citeeehy fan, he wasn´t too impressed with Sat that is for sure. To my fellow Horns, Do you think they´ll walk it again next season? My mate seems to think that last two games are a body blow that´ll make next season much harder.
I am sure they will just spend another 300 million or so on some new players to help solve that issue! Mind you are Stones and Walker that good defensive wise - they are pretty attacking ball playing "defenders" but solid and reliable?
I think they will find it harder as united, Liverpool and Spurs will get better and Chelsea and Arsenal could do too. They were more consistent this season but I see no reason why some of the others couldn't do that as well.
I think quite a few of these clubs need to bed in their players, then we might see a challenge. But Arsenal for example, still have major work to do to root out the chaff still in their first team.
Any thought of City romping home next year is premature. Liverpool on their day are already the best in England and, with a little more consistency, will be the ones to beat next season.
West Brom have had a proposal to introduce safe standing at The Hawthorns rejected by the government. The pilot scheme would have meant 3,600 seats in the Smethwick End were converted to 'rail seats', which can be locked in an upright position. West Brom - who are bottom of the Premier League - hoped to install them in time for next season. Sports minister Tracey Crouch says there are no plans to change the all-seater policy at football stadiums.
