So when is this power shift due to take place?

All I have seen over the last few years is one team winning trophies whilst the other won nothing.
One team dropping like a stone from 2nd to 3rd to hanging onto 4th by one point.
Two teams going after the same player who decided to join the team that wins things.

Is this power shift scheduled for some time in the distant future?

Happily, we need not worry about this small club mentality. :)

It was a laugh Kips, seeing you **** yourself silly over Levy ‘stealing’ Arsenal’s targets only to both make total mugs of yourself.

What you have to remember is that even though Kipper is an old codger, he’s never seen Spurs win a title. He has for decades though, witnessed Arsenal winning titles, FA cups, doubles, and in the process pissing on Spurs from a great height.

So for him, a mere blip the fortunes of the two clubs where spurs have finished above us, but still failed to win anything, represents an immeasurable achievement. Hence his furious jizz fest.

It is a prime example small club mentality <ok>

I've thought about it and maybe it's because the rest of us aren't really that bothered about what he posts on the Arsenal board.

Sadly for Tubby, he imagines in his very insular way that Spuds are on the very cusp of something special after 58 years in the wilderness. What he fails to see is they have temporarily taken over from Arsenal as the new nearly boys, not one winner in the squad at Premier level nor a manager who traditionally has male erectile dysfunction within sight of Wembley stadium.

Spurs at the end of last season were better placed than Arsenal in the PL, by all of 1 (one) point.
That is all they have achieved, no league titles, no cup wins, just the WeFinishedaboveArsenal Trophy

i would have a bet on this season with Hilary but the big girls blouse just welches so no point @Hoddle Is A God to confirm

To be honest mate, that tweet is a crock of ****. We were always in for Saliba and Tierney. Nothing that Spurs have done has altered that in any way at all. Depending on what report you read we've paid £27m-£28m for Saliba, so we weren't forced up to £30m to match Spurs' bid as both Arsenal and St Etienne knew that Saliba had already chosen Arsenal.

As for Tierney, Celtic want a certain price, reported to be £25m which we've bid, but they are holding out for better terms on the instalments. I think we'll get that deal done, but it's the fine details that need ironing out. And with Ceballos, it's a loan deal. He'll go back to Real, but it suits us as we need a MF player and we don't have to fork out any transfer fee.

What Levy did do is make his move for Saliba as Arsenal were over the Atlantic flying to the US. Presumably he tried to pull that fast one whilst we were out of the picture, hoping to pull the rug out from under us. Well, he failed and he's made himself look like a bit of a mug in the process.

Levy promised Poch that he'd actually be able to sign some players this window.
Poch didn't realise that he'd only be able to recruit from his own family members though <laugh>

According to the last report on this from SSN, we never actually bid for Saliba. Enquired, yes. Bid, no.
