I would love for Sahin to get a game today; ideal replacement for Lucas now that he's out injured. Sterling played a bit mid week so he may be benched for this match, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him start either. Gerrard and Allen also played mid week, which means that even they are up for debate at the moment; However I would expect at least one of them to start, with both starting likely.

    My guess for today's lineup:

Apparently thats the team apart from Enrique in place of Robinson and Borini in place of Assaidi.

Can't let a talent like Sahin sit on the bench. They are probably gonna play Jenkinson and Gibbs at full back, so hopefully Suarez and Sterling have a good game. If they play Mertersacker, I can see Suarez having a field day.

Yep BR must have seen we are on to him, so is mixing it up with the bibs :)
Could also be players he thinks he might use in the game in the same bibs i guess.

Pretty sure Gerrard will be playing. And when did we change our kit to pink?!

    Couldn't find the red :(

Also, Gerrard is an old man now... not necessarily going to start every match.

True, but at home v Arsenal? If BR was only going to play him in one game and it's a choice between Hearts at home or Arsenal at home, I think he'd chose the later. Back 5 probably picks itself, midfield of Allen, Gerrard & Shelvey (Sahin will probably start on the bench) then front 3 of Suarez Borini and one from Assaidi/Sterling.

That would be Carroll's role. He played so awesome yesterday. Who ever made the decision to send him away has made big mistake. I feel that over all it was not entirely Rodgers decision either.

Where is every one making these cool line up graphics with the shirts?

Why are people leaving Gerrard out of there teams? He is our biggest goal threat IMO, along with Suarez at least. Or at least our best finisher.

Gerrard getting in behind the striker or into a fulse 9 position looks like a good option for us to grab goals.

BTW, has any one seen any pictures of the players training in those vests? We usually know the team by now.

Confirmed LFC team: Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Allen, Sahin, Gerrard, Sterling, Borini, Suarez.

I think that's the team most supporters would've picked!

Carroll played ok yesterday - he won plenty of long balls and flicked onto team mates. Good, but it wouldn't happen in our team because we wouldn't play that way.

Also listening to the commentators yesterday you would have thought he had a stormer and set up all 3. Truth is, he won the flick on for the first which someone else then set up Nolan for and the other 2 were from set pieces. When ever a West Ham player won the ball and it wasn't Carroll, somehow it was "down to Carroll being in the team and taking the focus away". So other teams juts ignored the other players did they? Rubbish.

Apart from Sahin in for Shelvey was pretty much as expected. Good team in my opinion.

Confirmed team - Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Allen, Sahin, Gerrard, Borini, Suarez, Sterling.

Subs - Jones, Carra, Shelvey, Downing, Hendo, Coates, Kelly

I'd say probably our strongest 11 at this point. Happy to see Sahin and Sterling get starts. No Assaidi in the squad is odd.
