He always does our match threads just an FYI. Looks to be a good game. How has the IC or Ghananian (?) kid been doing for you lot? He was awesome at the youth world cup this past year.
Anyone know if Texeira is eligable to play for us,IMO at 19yo with the quality he has think he should be in the 1st team squad TBH Heard on form that he would have been picked loadsa times for Sportings first 11, but the owner seems to have a say in team selection, the manager wanted to pick him apparently Also heard off a couple of people that reckon although we paid £1m euros he really worth 10 times that, and only managed to get him so cheap cos of a contract glitch
He does look a good player, if he's good enough for the first team it should become apparent in the reserve games.
So we beat Milan 7-1, then Milan beat Sp Lisbon that beat you. So Tonight should be a breeze. That is how Football works isn't it
On form in the competition so far I think it's fair to say the Spudlets will be favourites going into this one but it's certainly going to be interesting to see how our lads cope. Scraped through the group and I can't see us being strong enough to knock out what looks a very decent young Spurs outfit. Good luck to the lads though
Should be a good game this. been watching every single game,This comp is really good for our youth. Anyone know if Wisdom is playing.
for the spuds... sure you beat someone and then that someone beat someone who beat us... ergo.... we must win this weekend seeing city trashed you... logic... yeah.. seriously though youth football is 90% about whos available and such so if we turn up with a good side we've a chance if we keep chopping and changing to give everyone a game we'll lose. we hardly ever put out best 11 kids out in their best positions.
Liverpool team: Belford Flanagan Sama Wisdom McLaughlin Silva Coady Roddan Sterling Suso Ngoo SUBS: McGiveron Ward Adorjan Pelosi Emilsson Morgan
lets see..... belford is a weak keeper. it looks a 4-2-3-1 flanagan sama wisdom mclaughin roddan coady silva suso sterling ngoo pelosi on bench could have played LB. Adorjan is better than suso sometimes... morgan or ngoo... I think morgan is a natrual but lacks lightening pace.
