80's sucked. But nothing worse than the grunge and goth looks of the 90's.

I'll take excessive hair over everything black and faces painted white with piercings everywhere.

I've always thought that was the reality of the 60's free love era..sounds great all this rolling over in big orgy drug filled dens and festivals but in reality it would be fairly pongy and sticky....

Strolled out the vaginal canal walking stick on hand, tipped your fedora and thanked Mum for the ride as you flipped her a pound coin as a tip.

Err, Sonic Youth, Public Enemy, Pixies ?? Loads of good stuff and important landmark records released in the late 80s, Guns N Roses Appetite for Destruction and Beastie Boys Paul's Boutique for example

I mean, I know you love your mid-80s Madonna such as True Blue. But you should check out The Feelies - Crazy Rhythms, Dead Kennedies - Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables and Young Marble Giants - Colossal Youth all released smack bang in 1980

    90s films.....

    I can't remember.

    but there are lots

Pulp fiction was a class film AND it had a classic sound track that probably opened a lot of minds to explore older music
    Schindlers list
The matrix right at the end just showing the revolution of cgi
shawshank great film ruined by a soppy ending :) 4 hours long and just about 2 mins of ****e ruined it for me.
saving private ryan. too long and a bit silly but the first half hour and last half hour were stunning
Toy story bringing kids cartoons back with a huge bang
    Jurassic park stunning us all
    seven. what a twist
    silence of the lambs
    unforgiven. great western
groundhog day.. a whole genre of movies like this were made much funnier that the efforts of today
    trainspotting over here.

80s movies were not too bad either

It's Oscar season at the moment so should be some decent films knocking about.

Likely to make the list would be

    Moonlight
    Manchester By The Sea
    La La Land
    Fences
    Hacksaw Ridge
    Lion
