People should be in uproar over the Mone/Medro payments. Our money just made someone a multi millionaire for absolutely nothing. These people who get angry at 'Karen' fleecing a benefits system should be fuming at an already rich woman fleecing our tax money.

 

At 4am yesterday morning, while sweating in the hottest room ever, covered in vomit and having an aching back through an hours CPR (on and off)……I honestly wondered if it was all worth while and wasn’t there something easier I could do at nearly 54 years old.

I think I’d miss the buzz though

Without sounding patronising, my hat goes off to you lot. Whilst I never clapped any of you during the pandemic, you deserve to be some of the highest earners in society.

 

You’d get bored in an office. I’ll probably put two bags in my green tea tomorrow for my buzz.

 

Not patronising at all Bob. However I genuinely believe and hold dear the thought that no working person who is fighting for better pay and conditions, is any more deserving than the next.
Everyone deserves a fair wage, for a fair days work

True story....

I used to do the bookkeeping for a couple of ladies who ran a flower shop...... They decided to sell up and one went off to Australia and the other one stayed here saying that she wanted to be an artist...... well a few months later I saw her and asked how the painting was going and she said great, I asked if she was using water colours or oil and she said neither....... I looked at her curiously and she said she was working in an undertakers painting the corpses faces so they looked good when relatives came in to view the body............
