The Prem & Champ Fantasy Football Thread

Time to bring some fun back to the not606,

I've started a couple of fantasy football leagues if people are bored/have enough spare time to join.

Premiership

Rules are simple, pick 15 players (starting XI and 3 subs, must be 2 GK, 5 DEF, 5 MF and 3 FWD) and select your captain (double points) vice cap (in case your cap doesn't play) and formation (you can swap players with your bench, eg to changed from 4-4-2 to 4-3-3 remove one of your MF and replace with a FWD)

You get one free transfer every week (each one after costs 4 points) and 2 "wild cards" that can be used to let you have unlimited transfers for that week.

You get points for...

FWDS get 3 points a goal
MFS get 4 points a goal
DEF and GK get 5 points a goal

Evereyone gets 3 points for an assist, 1 point for playing and an extra for playing 60minutes, DEF and GK get 4 bonus points if they complete 60 minutes and don't concede.

The best players of the game (man of the match) will be awarded bonus points.

The leagues are open to everyone, CAFC or otherwise.

However one rule* is all your teams must include at least one current/ex CAFC player

Simply select 11 players, and change your formation by selecting players in the new formation you want (eg to go 4-3-3 select 3 MF and 3 FWD when transferring players into your team)

All players get 3 points a goal, 2 for an assist.

DEF and GK get 1 point for completing 45minutes, and a further 2 for keeping a cleaning sheet for 75minutes. They lose a point with EVERY goal conceded.

It is also worth noting you can change your teams background image to your chosen team, simply go to "team options" and select from the drop down

I've already changed both my teams 3 times since starting

 

Have just joined the league Haysey, Managed to include three ex-charlton players.

 

Pimp my Side (Athletic) have now joined. I got 1 former CAFC player, but I am severely unhappy as I detest the man.

Come on all - get involved! When was the last time we could select CAFC players in a fantasy football competition?

Plus I can't see my team losing

Not that it matters, my teams too good!

 

I've joined the Prem one. My team are MID TABLE XI. Team had already been picked a few weeks ago and it includes Defoe.

 

Joined the football league one, will join the prem one in a bit. Made a side made up entirely of Current and ex Charlton players just to make it interesting. Team is Alderscrot Ballklub

 

Joined the prem one as well, same team name. My Prem team aint too shoddy

 

Welcome to the leagues, tbh i've found making my prem team allot easier then my championship team...there both awesome though

 

My Championship team will probably be toilet apart from our players of course, all the ex addicks will be hit and miss i feel

 

Very interesting about a team full of current and ex CAFC players. Very interesting...

 

Bit strange that i could have probably made a bench of ex cafc players as well, the amount of players in and out since we left the prem is staggering
