Ref gave it initially, so it'd have been a pen regardless. And it was a pen; complete meltdown by Leicester to give it away, though.
The momentum and positivity which they carried from last season is well and truly over. ========================= The momentum and positivity from beating Man City is well and truly over.
Mildly amusing on the Everton GOT forum that they think Mourinho could be their next manager. In the same spirit I'm awaiting my rollover lottery win (despite never, ever entering the lottery).
So, we beat Brighton, do we have to give that result back because we couldn't beat 10 man spuds? No, lets move on.........
I quite like the picture of Sam is as it would appear to someone who'd drunk his trademark pint of wine.
The international break couldn't have fallen at a worse time for Silva. Always a prime window for a club to change their manager. (They've actually got a fairly nice set of fixtures for the rest of the month. So things could be looking very different for him in a few weeks, if he is given the time. But right now, Everton might be more concerned about the club potentially wasting those fixtures if they don't make the change first.)
