Even behind closed doors, you would need ambulances and medical staff at the ground, in case of injuries. I dont see how you could have ambulances available for football fixtures during a pandemic?
It will be interesting to see how all the players manage to keep themselves 2m away from each other too.
Course its necessary! Big Bosses are losing money daily because of this Corona virus. Just imagine if they could only afford fillet steak and a bottle Bordeaux 6 days a week instead of 7.
I agree 100% . However , I am calling it NOW . The PL , at least will be finished this season . Far too Much money at stake . That for me is all that Matters to the powers that be ..I Will just add I honestly hope I am wrong . Happy Birthday to me . Utter ****e . Stay safe all and we will get through this.
Happy birthday Jasper enjoy as well as you can.Nah just have a good day bollocks to it all. I agree it's more than likely the prem will be completed, to many vested interests not to.
There are 762 million reasons why the Premier League will do their utmost to complete this season. To me it would be a shameful move, but you get the impression they can hardly wait for the starting gun.
I remember doing P.E at school in minus temperatures, snow, sleet with wild polar bears roaming the school field ready to pick off any student who dared stray to far from the pack. So I hardly think a minor thing like disease and death will stop the EPL finishing their stupid little league of football.
I think what people mean is in these circumstances they are not missing football. That is how I feel anyway. As you said, the pandemic has wrecked the sporting calendar. It's not just about showing respect after a worldwide disaster (or the impression of indecent haste to restart) but the fact that the season has had a lengthy stoppage. It feels like a previous season to me, IMO it would be far better to let it go and resume next season if possible.
I'm missing live sport, no doubt. But as the sun is now shining, I'm mostly missing cricket and flat racing. Should have been the Craven meeting at Newmarket this week, with clues and trials for the Guineas next month. **** football. Ask me again in August.
