been a week where the first team u21 and u18 all score 4 goals.

Anyone watching the u18s in the youth cup? Was 2-0 to Reading after 82 mins. And Liverpool managed to get back to 2-2 to take it into extra time.

Harsh....sounds like an amazing game but I take it the defenders we need (first team) are a lot less likely to be coming through from the youth ranks next season than from outside.

 

lloyd Jones looked good and Joe Maguire wasnt bad at left back, (wouldnt say as good as McLaughlin or Brad Jones though)

Their first goal followed a fantastic run on the counter and the second again was aginst the run of play. In extra time when we conceded 3 and 4 we were dead on our feet, a couple of players were on teh ground with cramp when they put in the equalizer.

But yeh, In general I would say the academy is prdoucung good attacking midfielders and forwards. (Ojo, Brannaghan, Canos, Trickett Smith, Rossiter, Wilson etc) and not that much in defence

 

u21s are homr to Blackburn tonight on LFC.TV.

Half time just gone and we are 1-0 down. Rossiter and Brannigan have come on at half time though after playing for the u18s earlier in the week.

McLaughlin is back from his loan at walsall it would seem.
