Rick is still teasing away on CL, dropping obscure hints without committing himself. He raised hopes of an "imminent" takeover which hasn't happened. Clearly his "multiple sources" are all wrong, yet he still posts all his ITK stuff on a thread which is now approaching 5k posts.

 

That entire thread is buttock clenchingly embarrassing, 5,000 posts all to indulge Everitt’s ego.

 

I ask again......how this is in some way going to increase the sales of VOTV?

Why else was RE hawking the last VOTV by calling out “takeover IMMINENT” ?

 

Just out of interest - and this is not a dig at you - can’t you see that RE is playing well meaning fans like a fiddle? All he wants is another job at the Club (he was sacked from his last one for Gross Misconduct)

 

So in other words you’re suggesting that anything he reports on line is purely to entice fans to buy VOTV.....utter bollox.
It isn’t so much that you disagree with RE that bothers me but that you infer that anyone who buys or listens to what he has to say is in some way an f’ing gullible moron.
Countless thousands of fans have bought countless thousands of editions of VOTV over several decades.
Speaking for myself, I don’t appreciate you saying that those who have done so are less intelligent or inferior to your great self.
We ain’t all f’ing numpities who hang on every word he says.....many’s the time I’ve disagreed with him and told him so. He has been controversial many a time, do you think we can’t decipher and realise that for ourselves? Your calling him The Pied Piper is absolutely typical of your hatred of the bloke......exactly who is he leading by the nose.......many of us know about RE and some of his less than pleasing attributes. It’s simply that his more edifying attributes far outweigh the bad ones at least as far as information he has continued to convey to us often very interested and thankful fans.
