It’s hilarious how you have come on here to get a few bites Keep it up, but we tend to be a bit sceptical of Rick disciples.
Oh....the Royal “we” angle..... bit presumptions to speak for others don’t you think, surely they are quite able to speak for themselves. Anyway......you know how I feel and I know how you feel. I just think some of the language you use to put down some well known and mostly well respected Addicks who you aren’t keen on as being OTT. You take things even a further step by then describing others that don’t think the same as you as being imbeciles etc. That’s one hell of a lot of fellow Addicks you are likely to disenfranchise in one foul swoop. You’re at liberty to dislike whoever you wish but when you do so, in the way that you do, you can hardly expect others who you’re digging out, which(by proxy) includes me, to sit back and swallow your attitude. One final thing......I am a fairly newish poster on here and don’t know you from Adam, so maybe I’m wrong here.....but do you ever make a post with a smile on your face, or with an ironic lighthearted bit of humour or friendly banter. You always seem to be very up tight and invariably digging someone out.....at least that’s what I’ve picked up on in the short time I’ve been posting. I can’t believe your off line persona is anything like you are on the other side of your keyboard. Let’s bury the hatchet and maybe you’ll go about proving me wrong! I’m done with this. PS.....in no way whatsoever did I come on here to get bites. I reserve that for Into the Valleyvont......where the real enemy is lurking!
Just for clarity, my opinion is that the terminal decline at Charlton started in 2006 under Murray. Not in 2014 under Duchatelet, although he has undoubtedly accelerated it. From 2006 there was a group of cheerleaders around Murray telling him how great he was - Ricky Boy was one - a few very prominent CARD “leaders” were others, including Bovine Ben Hayes and little Matt Wright. As soon as Duchatelet rejected their advances - Everitt twice asked Meire for a job don’t forget - they turned sour. That’s my perspective - that Everitt & Co are every bit as bad as Duchatelet in a different way. Let’s not fall out though
