If they are why would he go? from a team on the up to a team in decline with a loon of an owner.. Flint comes across to me as a genuine bloke who knows the score, he will no doubt move upwards if he continues in his current form one day, but I get the feeling he's with us for now!

i would be more concerned if it were Arsenal or Man Utd after him
Don't think Cardiff are much of a threat now, more a joke

Bristol City are very keen on bringing in young talented target man Ashley Fletcher from Man Utd.
Bristol want to strengthen their squad in preparation for the Championship.
The Yorkshire-born striker may look like an angular target man but he has a neat touch, Fletcher will improve an already youthful squad at Bristol

Speaking to Cardiff fans (one being Nicky 's cousin) is that he never really got over his injury that he got there. If not the one he got here was a struggle for him to get over, the one he got there has all but finished him off.

Quite a bit of Maynard's game is/was about pace - once injury takes off that yard of pace they are not the same player (see Michael Owen)

Thats true, although the goal he scored at QPR was not about pace, and the goals he was scoring for fun at that time across the country were not either. They were about his wonderful ability to strike a ball: to place it in the top corner from 20-30 yards.

Maybe confidence plays a part ?

Yes I agree, as with Owen not just about pace - there has to be something else to go with it (otherwise it's Ivan Sproule)

NM is a classic case of "be careful what you wish for" syndrome and bringing him back should not even be discussed after his crazy claims about what happened - boyo! How could anyone be concerned about their son getting an accent like SC or IH and going on to be world class managers like those two?

Just seen that Nicky Hunt has been released by Accrington Stanley, maybe we should go for this fullback with Premiership experience?:emoticon-0136-giggl
