Kin hope not , poor old Britt getting passed from pillar to post , why dont we give him a chance before getting an outsider in ! play Britt in the cup or against Donny and see hoe he gets on !
Here are some crackers 23 Dec 2011 11:03:45 I hear Leeds are hoping that they can lure Marvin Sordell away from Watford. Leeds are looking at £2-2.5million, but are prepared to send Billy Paynter the other way as part of the deal. 22 Dec 2011 18:43:19 Ipswich are hoping to buy 4 players in January; Scott Loach from Watford, James Perch from Newcastle, Mark Connolly from Bolton and Billy Sharp from Doncaster. All these are much needed additions to the squad. Aswell as these on-loan duo Danny Collins and Keith Andrews are also likely to sign.
At the end of the season, with Bond and Bonham developing and Gilmartin showing some decent form, the time might be right to cash in on Loach. But selling our only experienced goalkeeper to a relegation rival mid-season? That would be madness.
Heard a proper rumour yesterday - Tommy wants to come back to us on loan and is asking QPHa for it.....
If Watford sold SL to Bristol City that would be two relegation seats taken care of, Bristol and Coventry City. As Little Ak would say Harsh.
Tommy coming back would give us a massive lift and that piece of controlled edge we are missing - everything is crossed and I am being a real good boy!
According to Sky Blackburn want to offer 5 million for Marvin. Now that would be an offer we cannot refuse to an extent (well if Backburn actually have that money) but feel Sordell wouldn't want to join a team probably going down.
Bye bye Marvin - and thanks for the huge financial contribution towards saving our club! If they offer that, I can't see us refusing & regardless of what Marvin says about it, there will be an appropriately tempting contract offer to go with it - couldn't see him refusing. As for Blackburn having that sort of money, I'd say it's just chicken feed to them given the wealth of their owners. And it would be nice to get back some of the £1.5 billion of our money that our generous government has promised India in 'aid'.
That would be a nice starting point , If Blackburn offer 5million then it would be interesting if spurs or another London club put in a bid! or maybe listen to deals with another player coming our way!
