well, that was mainly ****, Haas post SC is the only real highlight. Merc, awesome work by the team again, sadly. Ferrari, what's to be said? ****ed themselves by publicly announcing team-orders before a wheel had turned, now they can't make the right decision at the right time.
Can't see Ferrari winning a race all season, let's be honest though they always been crap in recent years baring the Schumacher years and that helps having the best driver ever.
It's alright Bottas saying he lost the race at the start but when Bottas made his pit stop he was 13 seconds behind. I don't believe for a second that Hamilton would have been 13 seconds behind Bottas at that stage of the race.
Slightly ironic that in not letting Leclerc past Vettel sooner Vettel was later held up by Leclerc. They should have let both past sooner, but if they'd let Leclerc past in the first instance then Vettel would have caught him much later in his second stint, if at all.
An excuse not to let CLC through next time ? I don’t think so , and hope not , but with this lot .....
I was only looking at the current era. Am sure through the years there are many 'worthy' contenders for Bando's honour roll.
What a boring race. If F1 expect me to pay Sky £300 a year to watch this, something is going to have to change. Even watching 'highlights' at the moment is an effort when I can't watch the race in full.
Not been in on the chatter. If it is Merc 1,2 in Monaco, that is very nearly 1/3 of the season. So, Merc just have to fight this out amongst themselves. Meanwhile we wait another year and entertain our selves with the squabble between Max, Seb and Charles, look to see how Mclaren do and mourn Renault. I can see a lot of people switching off although I have been loyal through the sparse years before.
Anyone tempted to just switch off for the season? The potential of this sport that I can imagine is just light years away from the direction they are going at the moment and I just can’t see how things are going to improve? The midfield isn’t really getting any closer to the front three, the front three isn’t even a fight, and the once mighty Williams are almost reduced to rubble. Some serious rethink is required.
I think Romain will be leaving at the end of the year- Gunther Steiner has been patient with him but Haas need a driver that can bring home the points finishes without the fuss and mistakes Grosjean brings.
