in fairness West Ham no longer play at their old ground like us, they are not in the Europa League like us, they play home games in London like us and have beaten United like us...so the fact they have lost 5 matches to our 2 and have 7 points to our 18 and are 10 places and 11 points behind us in the league is irrelevant
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45884004 Leaving aside the political aspect, the Football Lads Alliance is a bunch of old hooligans. I don't mean that they're thugs, either. They're literally the old blokes from the various firms.
It appears that West Ham have suspended another coach for racism....... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45884004 I wonder why they bother? Given that the club's owners are happy to do deals with the ICF, having a racist coaching set up is nothing, really. What's a little racism between racists?
BBC London tonight on the Taxpayers arena (TM) saga. Apparently the LLDC lose around 100K per big game, and Moonface is saying the Spanners should have control over the naming rights / sponsorship process.
Westfield Shopping Centre: Two hurt as man 'falls from height' - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-45894777 Are all the Spammers Board accounted for? - just thought someone might have been worried about what was going to come out!!
The first question that should be asked is how many gallons of Erdinger happened to be inside them at the time? I can't think why that thought occurred to me...
I'm pissing myself laughing the idea of West Ham's owners holding themselves out as top notch businessmen who could run the White Elephant better than the current incumbents. They sold the site of Upton Park for £40m, only for it to be sold on again within a week for 50% more to a developer. Their stated matchday attendance has grown by 63%, from 34,910 to 56,972, yet they've admitted via that Brady woman's comments on recent club accounts that “....the club would have made a similar profit had it remained at the old stadium,” The **** ups on season ticket renewals, waiting lists and memorials around the old ground are legend. Rather than selling to The Dildo's, why not give the ownership to Lehman Bros. or Fred Goodwin?
Hell, I could probably do a better job with it, and I've spent the past six weeks forgetting I need to renew my Driver's License...
Lehmans and Goodwin at least made their businesses big money when things were good. The Spanners never had it so good on day 1, and now never will. Nemesis is an evil b*tch. She must have thought 10 birthdays came at once with the Dildo bros.
Stated being the operative word. Average of 12,500 lower and up to 17,500 less than the official for one match.
I've been causing a bit of a kerfuffle on SSC by trying to get to the bottom of what is the capacity of The Yellow Wall in Dortmund, when in fully seated mode for CL games. I've got 2 answers: 14,348 which was given as an official number; or 13,071 which is reached by deducting the difference in the 2 maximum capacities. I'm much more inclined towards the former, as there are likely to be other seats lost to away allocations and UEFA rules. Someone also posted that the ratio of seating spectators:safe standing allowed in Germany is 1:1.7 Anyway, as I was sure that I'd heard, Tottenham Hotspur ST/\DIUM has the largest all-seater single tier stand in European football. Now it needs a name......I like Brian's Stand. I NOW KNOW THIS IS ON THE WRONG THREAD - SORRY.
A certain NIMBY did find their business burning to the ground in order to facilitate the north, east and west stands being built, so guilt by association
