Plodder. DCL has worse stats than Wilson and worse number of starts too.... we might as well keep Wilson if we want a permanently injured CF.
Hells ****in yes. Tonali was betting on his own team to win, Paqueta is accused of deliberate yellow cards, which is match fixing. Some English guy got a six year ban for just one deliberate yellow card.
Match fixing is a criminal offence in a lot of countries Here, he’ll get banned for rest of his playing career. Prison, presumably would be up to Brazil depending on where the law was broken?! Li Tie is serving life in prison for match fixing but then that is in China
Would've assumed for a club that needs to be smart and accurate in the transfer window, there'd be a touch more urgency about backfilling Lawnmower Man's role.
His track record seems ok. However, I am still waiting for that statement that says "we've arrived". Mitchell from Monaco seems to have a bit of gravitas, a name like Maldini would be very exciting (regardless of whether he's any good!). The more successful clubs generally tend to have someone very competent overseeing things - previously Edwards at Liverpool and Emenalo at Chelsea, currently Beguiristain at City. Bournemouth have now taken on Pinto and Monchi's gone to Villa, Hughes to Liverpool. Maldini, Michael Zorc, who was heavily involved in Dortmund's successes, and Paul Mitchell are unemployed.
Youth recruitment seems to be doing really well. On top of Harrison, we've signed a few England U-17 internationals and are trying to finalise a deal for Dipepa from Port Vale. Down the line there's an increasing chance we'll get our own Foden or Mainoo, something we just never seem to have.
I hope we sign actual first 11 players this window and not some no name 12 year olds from Greenland etc.
