    he would need to take at least £400k a week pay cut to go to Spurs - why would he do that when he could go to United and get full pay whilst injured again

    Any deal with Spurs would require Madrid to pay a large chunk of his wages.

    But that’d be the same for anyone who was interested in taking him on loan, as no one is paying what he’s on there.

    RM will have to pay most of his wages like ManU did when Sanchez played for Inter.
    didn’t ManU pay him £350k a week to not play for them
