i think villa next seaspon will be fighting out a battle with hull and derby, for the title, so we definately aint going up next season ,as ive said so many times before this game is all about managers and we dont have one
Villa are one of the worst PL sides I've seen, with no prospect of new owners and so many players being paid a fortune for not giving a sh*t they are more likely to be relegated again...
It gave me no pleasure starting a thread like this..a bit like being married to a plain, frumpy bird with no chance of her become a decent sort over the next twelve months!
Maybe you shouldn't have chosen her in the first place. Maybe what you need is a big boobed, blue eyed bimbo - nice to look at (although not), but no soul.
I thought Ubes the pendant would have been all over the English in the thread title. Worse I've seen for a while or possibly worser.
Liked his draws...and with 4 points for a win is almost relegatgion material. When it was 2 points obviously mid table... He will be judged next year...but does not seem to understand you need winners on the field to mix with skill and youth.......
For me its not so much the playing squad but the management. Or the lack of it. Look at how Warnock turned around a clearly flailing Rotherham squad and is now chasing us down. How we contrived to part company with our most successful manager in donkeys years, not once but twice beggars belief. If JFH is the answer, clearly we are asking the wrong question
I agree with this. Even we managed 25 points in our worst season in the PL. I think Villa are in danger of the double drop.
Yup, they are beyond dire and with owners who give not two f*cks and the most toxic atmosphere in any fanbase to suggest they could be challenging for top spot is laughable.
Thanks 9's, results generally been slightly on the up latterly as well. We'll finish above 16th I reckon but too soon for a promotion push, not that it seems we are going to allow the team any time. There's plenty of poison to share around seems it's jfh's turn to be QPR villain.
I wouldn't be so sure it's Aston Villa and I expect them to put together a strong challenge it will take just a good appointment for a manager they get that right they will be very strong at Championship level IMO
We have currently a promising manager who extended and continued building Burton Albion We have a squad that looks like it may not be able to step up to any sort of Challenge and we are dreaming if we think we are masters of finding players from the lower leagues that will firstly play for QPR and have also been over looked by other clubs who of course have excellent scouting policies in place We do have a chairman who is a fluff master and claims he wants up to be like the latest team in form or the spotlight. Looks like a simple plan So yes I do believe that the way forward is to scout big time in France because the players are here waiting We won't of course and will probably buy from teams like Fleetwood Town or Notts County based on meaningless figures We need fresh blood from Europe and loan deals from Premiership reverse sides. We don't really have one player that would currently get into a top half championship side so where is the team? where is the club? In a real pickle and in a lot of debt albeit hidden We have had good chances and have a geographical advantage I would say it has been a massive business failure by a nice bloke who is not very good at business
What complete and utter poppycock! The bulk of our two promotion seasons were made up of the following players ... 2010/11 Kenny - Irish Orr - English Walker - English Hill - English Connolly - English Gorkss - Latvian Derry - English Routledge - English Ephraim - English Faurlin - Argentinian Taarabt - Morrocan Buzsaky - Hungarian Helguson - Icelandic Mackie - Scottish ( Born in Surrey ) Smith - English Agyemang - Ghana Not one single French player. 2013/14 Green - English Simpson - English Hill - English Onuoha - English Dunne - Irish Traore - Senegal Ekotto - Cameroon Henry - English Barton - English Carroll - English Morrison - English SWP - English Jenas - English O'Neil - English Ephraim - English Phillips - Scottish ( Born in Aylesbury Bucks ) Hoilett - Canadian Faurlin - Argentinian Benayoun - Israeli Kranjcar - Croatian Austin - English Johnson - English Zamora - English Keane - English Doyle - Irish Maiga - Mali Not one single French player. The best mix would appear to be an English/Irish axis.
From our league games in 2016, we'd be on course for a 11th place finish (per last year's table). That's with the last few games being relatively meaningless so perhaps not showing the fight that we would if challenging. That would technically make our entire squad top half class (just). Although sackings, overhauls and financial gambles give us a bit more masochistic pleasure, I think.
Another load of 'merde' from our resident Francophile. Newcastle jumped on the French boat a few years back and have been perennial relegation candidates. A good British base and strong team ethic is the way out of the Championship, Burnley have cracked it......
Agree...i love the French.....Bridget bardot,sacha dustel,the triffle tower,daavid ginola,Napoleon,Joe la taxi.....magnifique
