Rangers have gone from odds against a frw days ago to 4-6 odds on to beat Motherwell tonight. Got to win at home to set up the chance of promotion surely and can see a similar scenario to the Hibs matches - good home win and then hung on at the away leg.

King of the Rooks looks like the best two year old out so far in my view - must go well at Royal Ascot.

could go either really and likely win in my book as has he won as convincingly at 5f and 6f. My instinct is go for 5f as the pace of Ascot turns it into the equivalent of a 5 1/2 f race anyhow for which he is going to stay without any doubt and still have a finish. There is no unknown for this race but with the 6f if the pace was really fast the question may arise of whether his finish will be blunted. I personally think not and I have made him my banker for the meeting wherever he runs. I would however side with the 5f.

I'd agree he could win the Norfolk. Can't see nothing beating Round Two in the Coventry. Exciting pair them two are. Would be a heck of a race to view should they meet.

King of Rooks was hugely impressive again tonight, couldn't believe the price he was after that Newbury win. Buratino finishing 2nd gives the form of another Hannon horse Log Out Island a big boost, after he beat Buratino half a length further at Ascot in similar ground conditions on what was Log Out Islands debut race.

The Hannons clearly have 2 exceptional 2 year olds, but my gut feeling is that Log Out Island is the better of the 2:biggrin:

May not get to say that next year. I see the Sandown Executive have announced that next term they want this card moved to a Saturday afternoon.
