Looking across CAFC social media since the Plymouth game, there seems universal agreement (for once) that the Watson & Pratley combo should not happen again. They both look as though the years have caught up with them. Why not go back to a conventional back 4 at Hull, with players playing in their correct positions, and Pratley playing in front of them. Amos Gunter. Barker Pearce Maatsen Pratley Bowyer seems to have publicly confirmed via Rich Cawley that Oshilaja’s days are numbered.
Strange that he played Oshilaja out of position at LB last season in the Championship but won't play him in his best position, right central defense, in L1 when our two best central defenders are injured. I think he's ok at this level, not outstanding, but ok for 4th choice CB, which is what he is. And our defence always looks more solid when Pratley is playing in front of them. Even Amos didn't look as solid as normal on Saturday, although he couldn't be faulted for the goals. Maddison simply has to start now. A midfield of Pratley Morgan Maddison and Williams would be worth a try. I don't mind a bit of tinkering with the attack, and would give Smyth the nod over Washington. Just keep the same defence.
QPR want Paul Smyth off their books in January. Wycombe want him for a nominal fee as he’s out of contract next summer. Incredible really, as there’s nothing to suggest that he’s a Championship player. My QPR mate told me at the weekend that Warburton is on his way out at QPR, so a new manager might want to take a fresh look at Smyth anyway. We would be far better off with Schwartz and AN Other anyway up front. Apparently Les Ferdinand calls all of the shots at QPR on players, and their fans hate Bonne with a passion already. 2 goals in 18
According to Nigel Williamson on ITTV - admittedly not always the most accurate of sources - the Hull game could be off. Not sure why he’s taken such an aggressive tone with Dicky.
According to Wikipedia he is 66. A great aunt could be 80s or 90s if a much younger sibling of grandparent.
