I'm not watching the golf because there's football on, but I'm following the scoring. Tommy Fleetwood is 7 under after 15 holes, which puts him one off the lead. Unlikely to be enough to win it, though.
Have they watered the greens today then, and put the holes in a place which isn’t on the edge of a cliff?
Yeah, they must have. It was so bad yesterday that Mickleson deliberately took a two-shot penalty by stopping his ball rolling off the green. The spectators were pretty disgraceful too.
Apparently the course was just as poorly prepared and the spectators equally vicious to any non Americans when it was last held there in 2004. Before this weeks tournament started the organisers claimed to have learned from the previous experience on both aspects.........
Outstanding final round of 63 for Fleetwood. Long wait in the clubhouse for the leaders to get round, but there is a chance they will fall back.....
Sometimes golf can produce incredible drama, and perhaps today might be an example. Koepka just made a fantastic putt to only drop one shot on 11, so he's again just one ahead of Fleetwood's clubhouse score.
Amazing performance from Koepka and Fleetwood. If he’d just made that putt on the last it may have put enough pressure on to cause Koepka to drop a couple.
Finally England look like winning a rugby match. An amazing kick under pressure from Cipriani sets up May in the corner and England lead South Africa 25-10 with five minutes to go.
I’m glad Cipriani has done well today, thought it was a bit rough chucking him in after the shambles of the last two games and hoping for a change. He’s been his own worst enemy frequently, but a very good player.
He was a bit in and out today, but a little bit of magic near the end made all the difference. A big improvement from England in cutting out errors and penalties.
