Hourihane subbed off for Swansea with an injury. Blow for them. Korey Smith on.

 

1-0 - Great result for us with Brentford also drawing. Swansea had 23 shots but only 1 on target (in injury time). They also had a penalty shout in the final minute, but the ref obviously didn't read the script.

 

So despite drawing this weekend, we've gained a point on Swansea, and Brentford haven't made ground but have fewer games to catch us.

 

That’s exactly it, they have to catch up with us a minimum of 11 points over eight games. Every additional game makes that harder.

 

To get to 90 points, Swansea now need to win 7 of their last 9 games, which seems unlikely. In contrast, we just need to draw 7 of our last 8 games. The superstitious side of me hates to say it, but it's looking very good.
