    Sorry for my ignorance, but if the Europa League is what the UEFA Cup used to be, what is the Europa Conference League? Is it just another way to get teams into European competition and make some money from TV rights?

    Happy for West Ham and Moyes though. Nice finish for the winner.

    I'm pleased for him. We'll possibly never know exactly what happened towards the end of his spell with us, but he's undoubtedly a talented coach.
    I'm really pleased for Moyse and Rice.
    But **** me, those few idiots who threw missiles onto the pitch will have caused huge repercussions for British teams in Europe.

    Something a tad different.....

    Currently in Vitoria-Gasteiz in Northern Spain and the local side Alaves are currently playing the 2nd leg play off semi against another local Basque side Eibar..... they drew the first leg 1-1.....

    Watching in hotel bar, the ground is a mile or so from the hotel and is rocking with noise, think Wigan play off night and you'll get the idea....

    Alaves 1 up on the night after 20 minutes
