I'm pretty sure we'll be ok. We'll make some good signings and kick on and have a pretty good season. Evans has looked very out of sorts for a couple of games, and I'm not sure whether he's missing a foil like Eliot Anderson/ Luke Thomas/ Sam Nicholson. We definitely need replacements for them, and some reinforcements at the back. Gibson's a very good player and if we get a couple more of his calibre we'll be more than ok.

Being frustrated by Shrewsbury so far, but according to the BBC, we've had 0 shots on target so far in 55 mins. Even Bournemouth who are getting thumped 7-0 so far by Liverpool have managed 2 shots on target, and there lies our problem I'm afraid.

Says it all when you look at attendance figures doesn't it. I am slightly shocked there were more than 2000 there allegedly. Most of the finance for this comes from the Premier League. How desperate must they be to have their kiddies play grown ups for a change. I will never ever ever pay to watch any of these games.

 

Bristol Rovers midfielder Jordan Rossiter has been banned for three matches for violent conduct.

It follows a challenge made by Rossiter on Shrewsbury's Tom Bayliss in the 32nd minute of Saturday's 1-1 draw.

The incident was not seen by match officials but the 25-year-old admitted a Football Association charge.

Rossiter joined Rovers in June from boss Joey Barton's former club Fleetwood Town for an undisclosed fee and has made six appearances so far.

He will miss Saturday's home League One game against Morecambe followed by trips to MK Dons and Ipswich.
