This table shows the current games left in order for the Top 4 run in ( the only thing we are chasing now) I've not put dates and gaps between games in there.

Spurs have the added distraction of europe.
    We won't shortly. :(
Brighton have a lot of games piled in and the FA cup QF and likley SF to play.
Newcastle have one game a week
Fulham have the FA cup to play as well.

Looking at this we have a very tough little period coming up so bournemouth is must win and then we are into title challengers who can badly derail us (though these sorts suit us more than defensive outfits)

We have an opportunity, just have to realise that and take it. It's been a strange season but it's possible to get to 4.

Possible but not at all likely. Even fourth requires Spurs being Spursy (guaranteed) and us finishing the season strong (not guaranteed).

The fact that we're even in the fight after our rough season is pretty nice.

That will be the overall sentiment next time we lose or drop points again.

can't be unless you are suggesting our next loss of form will be next season.

we've 41 points. we can all go to the beach for 3 months.

I remember someone asking where the next win was going to come from out of our remaining games and being deadly serious I tried looking for it but couldn’t remember who or when it was said.

Said at the time was stupid comment as our home form was up there and had only lost 1 game all season.

it was on prem thread probably but I can recall it too.

I recall saying it wasnt so bad andpointing at the palace game as an example of a game where we would get the "4 wins needed" we were on 29points at the time

I have tipped 5th all season from that prediction thing we did
Not the thread - it was something different
Either way I still thinking 5th
I think Brighton are going to surprise a few here
I did think we would win a trophy too but that looking unlikely
My other prediction was Everton down but was thinking frank would be there all season

Brighton have a lot of games to pack in and utd even more(for z)

right now spurs going out of Europe can go one of two ways. they can fold now as all of them.know what's coming in the summer for conte and kane or they can fight with one game a week.

Honestly, I have to wonder about spurs. theres a lot of talk about the loveless relationship with conte and everyeon knowing he is seeing out time or hopeing to be sacked to get the pay off to go.

This can go one of two ways. Either the senior players pull the club along or they don't. (aka kane) a new manager asap would help them IMO.

If conte is there by seasons end I just have to wonder baout the morale and willingness to put the extra work into fight for 4th.

    Why?

    1. at the best of times thier starts in games have been terrible. very slow and only pick up second half a lot of times.
    2. Llrois is out for another few week and forester with no disrespect is about as much use as a rock stood there. no sweeping, not passing, its a black hoel for a side playing possession.
    3. midfield options are limited. Bentcour and bissouma are out.
    4. Perisici is a 45min player at his age, but sessengnon is also injured for a few more weeks.
    5. son is now 30 . he doesn't look quite at the same level as he was last year. in th league he has been really well off last year.
    6. richarilson has been as expected. all bluff.

I just don't see right now the will or the defence to go at 2 points per game. do you guys?

45 points with 12 to plaay. I was predicting 68 for them. I could be as low as 60 if they fade, thoughts?

Spurs going out of CL could make it more difficult.

Wanted Dortmund to beat Chelsea but the silver lining is that the Chavs still have a distraction
