A good week for our 2 leaders - tough week for all Spurs supporters in every realm it seems. We keep veering between a 2 and 3 horse race, this week it is a 2 horse. 2 Non posters - including @Roo who slides out of the top division because of it. This table will be updated when thread 25a (AKA City v Arsenal) is played out Week 26 fixtures (Edit: - now in correct order and with correct dates. Previously pre Covid19) 19.06. 18:00 Norwich Southampton 19.06. 20:15 Tottenham Man Utd 20.06. 12:30 Watford Leicester 20.06. 15:00 Brighton Arsenal 20.06. 17:30 West Ham Wolves 20.06. 19:45 Bournemouth Crystal Palace 21.06. 14:00 Newcastle Sheff Utd 21.06. 16:15 Aston Villa Chelsea 21.06. 19:00 Everton Liverpool 22.06. 20:00 Man City Burnley
Bugger. Thought I’d made my predilections Week 26 fixtures 14.03. 12:30 Watford Leicester 1-2 14.03. 15:00 Bournemouth Crystal Palace 1-1 Brighton Arsenal 1-3 Man City Burnley 2-0 Newcastle Sheff Utd 1-2 Norwich Southampton 1-1 14.03. 17:30 Aston Villa Chelsea 0-2 15.03. 14:00 West Ham Wolves 1-2 15.03. 16:30 Tottenham Man Utd 1-1 16.03. 20:00 Everton Liverpool 1-3
Still not too late to predict tonight's game https://www.not606.com/threads/tottenham-all-teams-1920-week-25a.382566/
Do I still get the points for correcting the win for Corona? Might help make up for my lack of prediction in the other games
With tonight's postponement, this table is now final. @PleaseNotPoll @Spurf or @No Kane No Gain could you please sticky now.
I never thought I'd feel sympathetic to Liverpool's cause, but if the season is abandoned now, shouldn't the current leader be crowned as Champion @SpursDisciple ?
No. Because for consistency one would have to say all places up and down the leagues would also have to be finished as they are . This would mean for example Villa go down despite having a game in hand which if they won it would take them out the relegation zone. Also how would 'play offs' work? ( I know you are talking of this league, but I was waiting for the easier games to predict to catch up, and therefore want consistency across all leagues)
On a serious note (because me winning the league is a serious business), we have all predicted the same games and made the same number of predictions. We might not finish the thing, but the table is at least representative of how we’ve done so far under the same conditions. That’s not true of the PL
This may be true, but that would leave us as the equivalents of Liverpool and Leeds, which is clearly and utterly unacceptable.
Null and void, still lots of points to be decided, I think I lead the league for a lot of last season but was caught and overtaken by PNP towards the end, who’s to say that wouldn’t have happened again?
