Is Son Heung-Min to the tune of Girls on film a chant?

    And if not, why not?

Haven't seen Dembele out muscled this much ever. He has been really poor tonight. If he was Sissoko he would be getting an absolute pasting on here right now! He has been that bad

is Winks on the bench? Might be a game for cool controlled passing.

Okay lads, relax, take a breath, and maybe consider actually having a degree of control of central midfield at some point in the next 45 minutes...

I would definitely make the change if it's still the same after 10 mins of the second half. I'm not complaining, as if we win it doesn't matter if we have f all of the ball, but we are showing them too much respect and need to be much more intense in our pressing as well.

But if he was Sissoko, he'd have given the ball away again straight away, anyway. <laugh>

    Thoughts:

    - Interesting tactics on display. It's very rare you see us sit deep and play on the counter, but useful to know we can actually do it when we put our minds to it. A couple of superb last-second interventions from Jan and Davies aside and you have to admit that for all their possession, Dortmund have rarely tested Hugo.
    - Dembele looks miles off the pace and was guilty of ball watching for their goal, giving Yarmolenko acres of time and space to place his shot, He is doing nothing to help us control the midfield which has also contributed to Dortmund dominating possession so much. I'm rarely critical of the Belgian but he has been terrible so far tonight, despite being rested against Everton.
    - I love Aurier's confidence but I'm not sure how well my heart will cope with having him and Hugo pissing about in the final third. Looks superb going forward but has a tendency to drop off his man when on the back foot - not a wise idea against a player of Pulisic's ability.
    - Eriksen, Kane and Son all working damn hard and getting involved across the entire width of the pitch. Their keeper is clearly not enjoying his evening, so I'd like to see us try a few long range howitzers early in the second half to unnerve him completely.
    - Dave is showing his inexperience and has been outwitted on several occasions. Someone needs to have a word in his ear and calm him down, letting him know that sometimes Row Z is the best option.
    - Not sure I want to sit through another 45 mins of that as my nerves are already paper-thin. One of Dier or Dembele need to get close to Sahin and shut him down as he is running the show for them. Will probably need to be the latter thanks to the former getting booked for winning the ball cleanly.

The Spurs PL MF press should be happening.
Dortmund are being physical and not getting classic
UEFA reffing, so Spurs should not either.

Hugo has rarely been troubled, but they have been inches from scoring many times so it's not exactly been comfortable at the back!

The Kane grappling before the goal :

The Dortmund player IMHO seemed to put too much
Poool into his fall to the ground (so perhaps the officials
    did not buy it) .

We're getting skinned down our left hand side. And we badly miss wanayama in the middle,

They're winning far too much in midfield.
