    No European football next season then. It's a blemish on ENICs record and one argument less for their blind faith defenders after something like 14 years of competing on four fronts, but i for one am relieved. We simply do not have the squad to compete and whoever the new manager is he will certainly benefit from solid weeks in between matches to get his ideas across.

    I think that a season free of Europe may help us in the long run. The conference league is a long slog with a lot of long journeys to Eastern Europe. Add to that if the Spammers win it in a couple of weeks it would make us not taking seriously next season even more embarrassing.

    Kane's brace means he equals his best ever PL season with 30 goals (2017/18).

    He would have walked the Golden Boot were it not for Haaland. How he has managed that tally with the shower of ****e surrounding him this season is quite unbelievable and testament to both his quality and the degree to which his overall game has evolved since he last hit this many goals.

    Irreplaceable, irrespective of the price tag.
