nothings changed over the last week, despite 3 fixtures.

 

We don't have any real world class players, so we rely on team cohesion, a plan and a plan B.
We lack the first and third totally and the second was sussed out by October.

Sacking Ange isn't the answer.

The next mug will come in, enjoy a bit of a bounce, and then we'll be back at square one 6 months later.

We need better players and have done for a number of years. It's as simple as that.

Watching via my phone on a flaky connection in the Spanish sunshine but agree 100% here.

The midfield is quite frankly non-existant, and at the moment I can not see how we even score.

Too many bang average players out there and God knows where we start in the summer.

Oh well time to crack open another bottle of red....

 

Maybe not but this guy isn’t helping himself. His tactics are obvious to the opponents and he seems to think defending set pieces or defending in general isn’t important.
He also said after the Chelsea that he needs to get rid of a lot of players (players will see that and know if he’s on about them) and then he picks the players the next game. It’s all so amateur imo.

Levy took a massive risk appointing him but it’s not working out and imo never will now.

 

We always knew that with Ange’s tactics we would concede goals so I can’t be harsh on the defence. It’s our forwards job to score goals. Johnson and Son aren’t doing anything. We need to put Son in the wing and bring Richi on.

 

Kulusevski, Son and Johnson have added nothing. Royal is out of position and out of his depth, with no cover. Porro and Bentancur have been invisible.

So being only 0-2 down is some achievement!

But you can’t just accept those tactics when they’re not clearly not working. Yes a lot of the players aren’t even close to being good enough for a top 4 side but when it’s happening game after game then the manager needs to manage and change something.

This will be 4 defeats in a row which is unacceptable.

If he’s not removed then mark my words, Spurs will be in the bottom three in October and he will be sacked then. That will be another season (24/25) written off.

The problem though is that his tactics aren’t creating chances. Doesn’t really matter who’s up top, I’ve already mentioned that against Chelsea Richarlison had the fewest touches of any player in the first half and that (apparently) he and Son never had a touch in their box.

Feels exactly the same here just without Richarlison, so I don’t think he makes a difference to between.

The tactics and coaching need huge improvements. Players look clueless and bereft of ideas.
