It's a bit of a step up for him for Game 2, though. City's potential quadruple may have shrunk to a potential treble, but that's still a substantial achievement. Endless money and an experienced and successful manager vs a rookie with one game under his belt. Can we manage a significant upset or will the favourites pocket another piece of silverware? This is the third meeting between the clubs this season and we've won one each. Pretty sure we're all aware of that though, so let's go back to a previous cup final meeting, instead. One of the most famous FA Cup goals and a memorable replay following a less memorable first match: The club has produced this video of how we reached this final, so have that, too: No injury news yet, but it appears that Davies is out and Kane is touch and go. Aguero and De Bruyne are doubts for City, while Stones misses out through suspension. Lineups for each side's last league game: Spurs: Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Reguilon; Ndombele, Hojbjerg, Lo Celso; Bale, Moura, Son. Subs: Hart, Sanchez, Tanganga, Winks, Sissoko, Lamela, Alli, Bergwijn, Vinicius. League form: LWDLDW. City: Ederson; Walker, Stones, Dias, Zinchenko; Silva, Rodri, Gundogan; Mahrez, Jesus, Foden. Subs: Steffen, Cancelo, Ake, Garcia, Laporte, Mendy, Fernandinho, Sterling, Torres. League form: LWWWLW. Ref: Paul Tierney. VAR: Andre Marriner. TV: Sky Sports. How would you like to line up for this one and what would you change from the Southampton game? Would you stick with much of the same lineup, make a few changes or go for a wholesale switch? Which system and tactics would you use and what are you expecting City to go with?
Is it the wrong time to mention that Davies has quietly become a total liability injury-wise. Was Mr Dependable until two serious injuries and surgeries in 2019 and hasn't been the same since. Anyone know how many weeks he's missed in the past 2 years?
Missed about 20 games last season, but he's only missed four in this one. I think we should be looking to replace him just because we need more attacking fullbacks, but he's generally not been too bad with injuries.
Well f***ing done. When does he ever post this matchday thread early on a Friday afternoon when normal people are working?
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: 857 days as manager, 0 finals Ryan Mason: 6 days as manager, 1 final Get ****ed, and your son can get ****ed too
Big game = Big game players. So assuming Kane is fit I would start with... Lloris Aurier, Aldeweirald, Dier, Reguilon Hojbjerg, Winks, Bale, Lucas, Son Kane I must have been on the sauce, cos I think we can win this. COYS!
