Poor all game - Newcastle deserved something as they were the better side - Hard to find many positives from that performance.
Out thought by Steve Bruce...let that sink in They deserved to win. Shameful performance but it's not a surprise is it?
2-2 FT. That's more than we deserved. Awful performance. Pathetic stuff. It's a good job that Newcastle are **** or we'd have lost that badly. Dross.
First half we tried to play aggressive attacking football but with no high line and no possession. It went badly but thanks to it being Newcastle and not a decent side we lead. Second half it was Jose ball and once again took Lamela to make it not a seige on our goal. There are better players in the squad but Lamela is probably the most important player for us after Kane with how restrictive Jose ball seems to be for all the rest of our attackers. It's a bit like how Hazard made Jose's Chelsea look so much better in his second spell.
I remember doing a WHL tour with Ledley a few years back and I wrote about it on here. He was asked about Juande Ramos when he was at the club, Ledley said Juande had a phenomenal game plan when facing top sides/ rivals yet against anyone else he just expected the team to win and didn’t train or set up specifically for them. I reckon if someone switched Ramos’ name for Jose’s it’d also be highly believable.
Utterly crap performance, others can talk about it. Just wanted to say again (and I've said it before we were the victims), that you shouldn't be able to loan players to other teams in the same division. That's the second PL loanee to score against us recently. And I know we've done it, but I still don't agree with it. This is not an excuse, we didn't deserve anything from the game. But I still think Willock shouldn't have been playing for them.
Just got sent this.... David Moyes Frank Lampard Graham Potter Scott Parker Steve Bruce Pep's 'Cone Boy' A bloke in prison Can there be anyone that can’t get their team to outplay Mourinho's Spurs?
