I have a sneaking suspicion he’ll play Winks but am ready to be proven wrong.

    Ready and desperate.

I've legit seen one of the MouAnon mob claim the board would rather we lose the final under Mason than win under the ubermensch

I have no issue with that. None whatsoever. If I knew that winning the cup would keep Maureen in the job for another season, I would prefer us to lose. And I feel no shame in admitting it.

Why is this a 6pm kick off? Do they assume nobody goes to work now?

Could not live with that football again over an entire season.
But for 7 games, I'll take seven 5-4 wins.

I just want to see the heavy weight of the gloom lifted off our players shoulders tonight...we will be able to tell what the players psyche is within the first 20 minutes.

They have no real excuse for the cumbersome approach we have all been witnessing now that the issue has been removed.

Done a complete u-turn on it mate, decided to completely embrace the dark side and I only like the ****house players now. Højbjerg, Lamela, Gio Lo Celso. These are my boys.

If I don’t look at a player and think “yeah, he’d two-foot tackle Jack Wilshire’s gran if he saw her in Tescos” then I’m not interested.

Well I wouldn’t want us to agree too much mate, we might get too comfortable.

No Rodon at all, disappointed in that. Would rather we started a proper striker too. Good to see Bale back in. Hopefully Tanguy and Gio turn up for once when in the XI together.

Would like to have seen Vinicius play and shame Dier is starting but no Sissoko or Winks is a plus

If indeed Jose was sapping the players mentally and emotions then tonight we should be seeing a spring in their steps

we will be able to tell

Not far off what I hoped for in terms of a line up. Will be interesting to see the game unfold and our tactics.
