They did make it hard for us until the Eriksen goal, honestly. We barely created anything, despite having loads of the ball. They didn't react well to going behind though and the second goal killed them off before half-time. Carvahal made the right change at the break and Vorm stopped them getting a goal, boosting their confidence and getting back in it. They had too many players out to make it as tough as we found it in the league at the Liberty.
I just hope that all those so called fans who have gone to the effort of personally abusing Sissoko on twitter and Instagram actually make more of an effort today in crediting him for his performance.
It’s one thing us lot having a light hearted laugh on a forum which he never reads, but to actually message him direct with horrific abuse is unacceptable. What I’m trying to say is it’s far better to talk about him behind his back than to his face.
A nice gesture that will mean the world to a young fan. Simple things like that can be so meaningful to supporters and I think a lot of footballers just don't get it, unfortunately.
Yes he did perform much better but had plenty of time to do something with the ball. But you knew he wouldn't score...... ! I couldn't understand why Swansea parked the bus all through the first half. This was a cup tie.....you go for it! Their fans must have been ticked.
I didn’t think they parked the bus to be honest. There was no effort in attack, but if that was supposed bus parking, it was pathetic.
One thing you can't say about Arsenal.................The Coach is on Fire ................................or United.
Just watched MOTD and thought Dier looked perkier than normal today. Eriksen is hitting the sweet spot of his game at an important time for us and Sissoko deserves a lot of credit...he's bringing more to the team than a few players that get away with a lot less to their current game. Oh and Lamela looking his free flowing best too in recent games.
