    Massive NLD this

    MASSIVE !

They are always big games, but this one is huge. With them chasing 4th and a CL spot and us pushing for the title, there's loads at stake as well as the usual rivalry and bragging rights.

As for the game, we go into it in good shape, with an almost fully fit squad.

I think Spurs will come at us, because that's the only way they really know how to play. If we make sure we keep our shape and defend in numbers, I think we could get a lot of joy picking them off on the break.

Think this could be a game where Martinelli and Saka could thrive.

Hope they play with that very high line and Ode threads balls behind for Saka and Trossard or Martenelli to run on to with their pace.
We need defensive discipline and let them make mistakes as their crowd will get on their backs

****ing hate the NLD...unless we win...or at least don't lose.

Would bite your hand off if we were offered a draw.

You lot are looking so good ATM...bastards

Yeah definitely more nerves than enjoyment.

I'm nervous now, and by the time 2:00pm sunday comes it will be unbearable

We're in good shape and on good form going into this one, but it's still the NLD and it always throws up some drama

A draw isn't good enough for us, so we have to come to your gaff to try and win this one.

First 20 mins in the game could be crucial because I think it will be very open. Their fans will be urging them on and I think they'll try and hit us with everything they've got early doors.

I think they'll play that high line, coz that's ange ball and it could give us lots of opportunities to get in behind them. They've been relying on the speed of Van de Ven to get back and cover, but he spent most of the time against Toon breakdancing on the deck as he got turned inside out by Isak.

0-1! Hojbjerg OG resulting off a (terrible) corner from Saka. No real chances in the game for either side, but we've had the ball in the net twice in the last few minutes, if we include the offside goal.

    Let's build on this now.

Oof. Romero almost scored from a set-piece. Just wide. Need to be careful here.

They've just hit the post from another set-piece. Bloody hell. We got away with one there. Partey completely unaware of his surroundings.
    Can we wake up please?

1-1. VDV equalises. Can't say they don't deserve it. We've been under siege.

It's gone to a VAR check and it's been ruled out for offside. We've got away with one there. We seriously need to wake up here because they're having far too many chances and have been extremely close several times in the last few minutes. Sort it out, lads.

    0-2! Saka!

Superb counterattacking goal and we're in a commanding position.

What a superb ball that was from Havertz, by the way. Lovely composure and finish from Bukayo.

It's weird because we're 2-0 up but I don't feel comfortable at all <laugh> Maybe it's the NLD nerves, but honestly, don't think we've controlled the game that well at all. Hopefully we can get a foothold of the game and limit their chances soon.

    0-3! Havertz! I can't believe it omg <laugh>.

What a ball from Rice and simple header from Havertz who was unmarked in the box.

    Incredibly clinical half.

Spurs all hyped up and aggressive, while we just kept calm and business like. . (They have had almost three weeks to prepare for this tie. We've played 3 times in that time)

More of that in the 2nd half

    HT. 0-3. What a half.

In some ways, I don't think we've played that well, but I guess you don't need to against this Spurs side if you know how to exploit their weaknesses. Two corners and a counter attacking goal have us well in control of the game.

In general play, feel like we've been a bit sloppy in possession and a bit open, but we've defended our box well and have been composed when under pressure. We've also looked dangerous on the break.

Spurs have been way too aggressive and their players are pushing so far up the pitch that there are gaps to exploit if we can string 3-4 passes together.

You'd expect us to sail through to full-time now, but I know what we're like, so I'm not holding my breath <laugh>. Just see it out now, lads.
