What are your thoughts on Maddison, RCL? I know some of your fans were sceptical before he signed.

I think he’s a talented player, but he seems quite fairweather i.e. when things are going well, he’ll look fantastic, but when the chips are down, he’s not the type of guy to grab a game by the scruff of it’s neck.

Appreciate he’s had injuries and loss of form etc, but I do also think there’s a reason why a top club hadn’t made a move for him. There’s also something about his personality that rubs me up the wrong way. Just seems a bit snide and arrogant. Perfect fit for Spurs I guess

 

The ****ed up thing is Villa lost yesterday & still have to play Liverpool - so if you lot hadn't mentally given up already 4th place would have been up for grabs.
